The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
The Son of Neptune...it was okay.
The plot was confusing. I felt like there was so much information shoved into every crevice, that it was forgettable. Plus, it was predictable. If a character was in danger, I knew they'd be fine. If someone was wondering if they should join the demigods' cause or the giant's cause, I knew they'd join the demigods'. I definitely liked The Lost Hero more.
The characters, however, were (mostly) great. Hazel's backstory is fascinating. But Frank's...it was too confusing. I have no idea how any of it works.
